Was Petrus D. Demarest (b.1803,d.1842) married to Hanna Cooper (b.1804,d.1860) or was Peter D. Demarest Married (b.1804, d.1843? "The Demarest Family" 1938, indicated Peter was married to Hanna. The 1964 volume indicated Peterus was the husband. I want to know who was my grandfather 5 generations ago.
