I'm starting to research PETTS in Derbyshire UK. My partner is a PETTS and his family have always lived in an around Wirksworth and Crich in Derbyshire. I have found quite a number of PETTS in Crich who's trades were stonemasonery. I'd be interested in hearing about any further info you get on this surname.
