Beloved Aunt
Ann L. Pfadt, age 94,
of Erie passed away on Friday, June 13, 2008 at St. Vincent Health Center.
She was born in Erie on April 24, 1914
a daughter of the late Edward and Anna Liebel Pfadt.
She was a graduate of Saint Benedict’s Academy.
Ann worked as a supervisor for 41 years at Erie Resistor/ Erie Technological before retiring.
She volunteered with Meals on Wheels for 20 years and with the Arthritis Foundation.
She was a Eucharistic Minister and member at St. Mary Church. She was also active in their Happy Hour Club and Rosary Society. She was part of the St. Benedict Alumni Association and the Friends of St. Benedict. She enjoyed bowling, reading and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Gertrude Haag and Elizabeth Pfadt
and three brothers Edward, Casimir and Joseph Pfadt.
Ann is survived by three nieces, Elizabeth P. Soety, husband Edwin of Erie,
Cathy Rosenthal of Waterford
and Mary P. Lombardozzi, husband David of Erie;
many cousins,
great nieces, great nephews
and great great nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call on Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brugger Home for Funerals, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Blvd. Services will be held there on Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Church. Burial in Mary Queen of Peace Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Mary Church, 315 East 9th Street, Erie, PA 16503 or Mount St. Benedict Monastery, 6101 East Lake Road,
Erie, PA 16511.
