I know this probably won't help much , but I've been told be several older family members that , Deacon is a distant counsin of mine in the bloodline .My great grandpa was Martin J. Phillippe , his father was "Martin" as well . My great grandpa was chief editor of a Kansas City paper until he was murdered in the Late 20's. I believe my family came from Tenn and Indiana . My family moved to Oklahoma in the early 1900's, maybe even earlier . There are many Phillippe's buried in a cemetary in Inola , Oklahoma . I know we have strong roots there. Oh yea , I'm in OKC .
