"The Kansas City Star" (Missouri) Friday, April 14, 1899
M. PHILLIPI, head car inspector for the Rock Island
Railway company, was caught between two moving
trains at the Rock Island freight depot in Armourdale
yesterday afternoon and seriously injured. His body
was badly crushed and his right hip dislocated. He
was removed to his home on Pennsylvania avenue
in Armourdale. Dr. DOYLE attended him.
