I can give you some personal information about Henry and Mary (who was called Melissa) Sines. They were my great grandparents. Henry operated one of the first Coke furnaces in Rosepoint, Pa. There he refined steel for the Carnegie mills in Pittsburgh. My grandmother ran a rooming house at this time for men involved in the mining business in this area. Of their three children, all remained in the area. We had a very close extended family which included Peter Sines and his wife. My uncle has done quite a bit of research on the family and I will tell him of this site and try to get him to post it.
