Is Susannah Phineas the wife of Benjamin Sutton born 10 March 1759 in Middlesex Co.NJ ?Ben died in June of 1851 in Houston Co. GA age 92.Ben's parents were Charles Sutton born 1725 in NJ and Mary Tillier.Charles and Mary were married 10 Oct 1751 at Christ Church in Shrewbury NJ.Did the Phineas family go to this church?Ben and his wife were the parents of my direct ancestor,Jesse Grant Sutton born 12 Dec 1793 in Edgefield Co.SC.Jesse married Elizabeth Bryant in Pulaski Co.GA.Jesse died about 1860 in Barbour Co.AL.I descend from Jesse and Elizabeth's daughter,Martha,who married Arrington Phillips in Barbour.There is lots of Sutton info on line but Susannah stands alone.Thank you for reading my post and good hunting to all.Becky
