My Great Grandmother, Mary Jane Piatt Decamp was Mac-o-chee. As was her brother Virgil. There were 8 children total in their family. I only have pictures of Mary Jane and Virgil. Their parents, John Piatt,born 1837 and Mary Elizabeth Puterbaugh Piatt (she could have gone by Liza) born 1847. John's parents were Jacob Piatt and Elizabeth Willhaven Piatt born 1807.
That is as far back as mine goes. I have no evidence where the Mac-o-chee blood comes in. Though I suspect Mary Elizabeth Putterbaugh may hold the key,
