Elizabeth is the daughter of James Pickerel and Rebecca Jones.
The obituary is from The Evening Nonpareil-Council Bluffs, Iowa Tuesday, October 2 1917 page 7
Mrs. Elizabeth Darnell died at her home 1208 Ninth Avenue, Monday evening at 9:30 o'clock at the age of 80. She leaves two sons, Henry and Benjamin. The body was taken to Woodring's parlor. The funeral was held from the home Tuesday afternoon at 3:30. Rev C Struckenbruck officiating and at 5 o'clock the remains were shipped over the Wabash to Stanberry, MO for interment.

Elizabeth was born 28 Feb 1836 or 1838 in Green County KY. She married Thomas Darnall 14 April 1855 in Taylor County. She gave birth to at least 13 children. Six are buried in Cooper Cemetery, Gentry Cnty MO.
