George William Pickup born about 1831 in Ashton Under Lyne, Lancs.
Married Jemima Jane Mitchell Lucas March 6, 1865 Booth Chapel at Walton on the Hill, Lancaster.
1866 son George William born May 6th Ashton Town (Ashton under Lyne), Lancaster.
1869 Mary Jane born in Booth, Lancs.
1870 John born October 13th in Prescot, Lancaster.
1874 Walter born
Nathaniel Sidon born 1870 in Farnworth, Lancs. possible
relative.
George William born about 1866 served in Liverpool Regiment and Boer War. Was the only Pickup to perish in the December 6, 1917 Halifax (Nova Scotia) Explosion.
