Death Of A Venerable Lady.-Senora Maria Isabel PICO died a few days since, in Castroville, at the age of 98. She was the wife of Dolores PICO, who came to California in the last century, and the two were the parents of ancestors of all the Picos in the northern part of the State.-Six sons and seven daughters, including Antonio Maria PICO, who died four month ago, grew to manhood and woman hood. The
daughters married into the CASTRO, AVILA, FELIS, BEJUR, VILLA, PORNBER and BERNAL families. Dolores PICO was the brother of the ancestor of the Southern Picos; his wife was nearly related to the VALLEJOS, COTOS, and HUGOS. She leaves more than a hundred descendants to mourn her death, and probably a thousand relatives who can easlily trace relationship to her by blood or marriage.
