Stanislaus Piech

I am searching for any information on my great grandfather, Stanislaus Piech. He immigrated to Chicago in 1880 from Poland/Austria. He was accompanied by wife Mary(anna) nee Wasilewski and children Andrew and Maria. I'm particularly curious about what town they might be from. Any other Piech's know their ancestor's hometown?

I see a surname maliefsky and am not sure if we have a connection.

My great grandmother Mary Harhut married Andrew Dziczko and they had three chiildren Nettie, John and Michael( my grandfather). She divorced Andrew and remarried a Maliefsky and had two more children Ann and Lily. I know Mary and Andrew were bon in Austria or Poland. I don't really have any more info. Let me know if any of this sounds familiar.

I am related to Piech in PA. My ggrandmother was Ann Piech who located in Berwick, PA. Her brother was Kilanie (Klem) Piech who settled in Plains, PA. I am related to Piech in PA. My ggrandmother was Ann Piech who located in Berwick, PA. Her brother was Kilanie (Klem) Piech who settled in Plains, PA. Christine, My ggrandmother was Ann Piech. She settled in Berwick, PA. Her brother was Kilanie (Klem) who settled in Plains, PA. Are these names in your tree?

elias/elko piech was my great grandpa who was also called alexander opecko from galcia austria born 1888 his father was demetrius and mother rosalie can anyone help me? i need to know what the real name was.

Just to add to what I gave you, my Piech folks settled in Forest City and Vandling, PA. They changed their names after some period of time, but Piech was the original name. They originated in Wala Sekowa, Galacia now known as Poland. I think they were originally called White Russians from Carpatho-Rysyn heritage. First one to come to US was a Marko born circa 1869. He came to the US in 1891. He was followed by a brother Frank (Fesko)

The lines of the countries changed so much that
the area they came from could have started out as
one country and then became another country. The area that
the Slish family came from is now Poland.....

I do not think there is a connection as my Pieche ancestors were from Poland.

My connection to Piech is from Pa. and in
a time frame of 1899.
The connection would be to a Slish.
I will look thru my information and see but
the connection for this family is a second
marriage and my grandfather's mother was from Aunstria.

I am looking for information about Andrew and Mary Piech , my paternal grandparents , and their extended families. I believe that they immigrated from the Ukraine to northern Quebec, Canada in the early 1930's. Any assistance would be appreciated.

this is a new post to your old one re: Piech. I believe Marko Piech ( Opecko) was born in 1869 and came to the US circa 1891. He was living on Ash St. in Vandling PA near Forest City at time of 1930 census. He was married to Eva ( Furdock?). She was born circa 1854 in Poland. She married first to Mr. Slich (spelling?) at age 16 or in 1870. Married Marko at age 27 circa 1896. she came to the US in 1892 per 1930 census.
My aunt Mary Kos Opecko was related to the Piech/Opecko families from FC.

My name is Traci Olszewski. My Great Grandfathers' name was Adam Piech and he was married to Madalena Gierszol. I know of ten children. Estell, Valerie, Mary Henry, Victor, Edmond, Joey, Johnny, Victoria, and Frank.

If you have any information pertaining to Adam or Madalena please help me out. Maybe about date of birth, date of death, marriage, parents, or other children. I believe that Adam was born in Austria.

I was wondering if anyone has any information about the family of Mary Piech. She married Mathias Smith .They had a daughter Mary Smith in Lansing Iowa, in 1864. Mary Smith Married Claude Potter and they died in Winonia Minnesota. On Mary Smith/Potter's death certificate it lists her Mother cooming from Luxemburg and her father being born the the USA .

Looking for info on my husband's great-grandmother; Huldina PIECH PETERSEN. She also went by the first name Pauline or Paulina; the 1900 Census (Nebraska, Cuming County, Cleveland Township - ancestry.com image 12), which gives her name as Huldina, shows her as coming from Germany, but there are internal errors to what the enumerator wrote to indicate that may not be completely accurate (ie, a 1 month old child is listed as born in Germany, and this same child can read, write and speak English!). Some family lore indicates she may have lived with a Polish family; she may indeed have been Polish. She married Peter D. Petersen in North Platte, Nebraska in 1895. She died in 1917, shortly after the birth of her 12th child.
Does this match anyone's missing sister/daughter?
