Hardy – Viola C Hardy, 75 of 33 Spruce St., North Tonawanda, Wednesday (Sept 6, 1972) at her residence. Born in the Town of Wheatfield she was a lifelong resident of this area.
Wife of the late Henry J Hardy, who died in 1963, she is survived by two sons; LaVearn of the Town of Tonawanda and Richard of Tonawanda; a daughter Mrs. John (Dorothy) Conrad of Tonawanda; a brother Arthur Pieper of North Tonawanda; two half-sisters Mrs. Marie Heidenfeldt of Lewiston and Mrs. Louise Lee of North Tonawanda; six grand children and four great-grand children.
She was a member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, the Salvation Army Golden Age Club and the Senior Citizens.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wattengel Funeral Homes, Inc. 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda were services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m., the Rev. A.W. Moldenhauer officiating. Burial in St. Matthew’s Cemetery.
