Mrs. Martha Pieper, nee Bock wife of the late Charles F. Pieper died early today at the family residence, 421 Wheatfield street after a lingering illness. Mrs. Pieper was born in the Town of Wheatfield and had lived in this vicinity all of her life. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Meta Krieman, one granddaughter, Shirley Ann Krieman, and three sisters, Mrs. Fred Prime of North Tonawanda; Mrs. Minnie Sweetman and Mrs. Harry Webster, both of Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was a member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. from the family residence. The Rev. Carl Frankenstein will officiate. Burial will be in Elmlawn.
