I am looking for the descendants of Walter Wilbur Pierce, b.June 1, 1909 in Lorain, OH, d.March 9, 1994 in California.
He married Anne Fielder Feb. 4, 1932 in Cleveland. They had 3 kids, Walter Day, John Ernest and Martha Ann. Both John & Martha were born in Southgate, CA, and they all were living in CA the last I knew. I am also aware of grandchildren of Walter W.
OK. Walter was the son of Ernest Philemon Pierce whose brother, Arthur John, is my great grandfather. Walter had put together a family genealogy in 1980. He sent copies to all the cousins, and it has been my jumping off point. I would be so appreciative if I could speak to any of you and maybe find out what other materials he had.
In the letter he wrote that accompanied the genealogies, he expressed how sad it was that the family was no longer close, and not just geographically. He had hoped that the genealogy would bring the family closer, through letters and telephone calls and the such. That, unfortunately, didn't happen. But maybe, if you Pierces are out there, we can reconnect.
I sincerely hope I hear from you!
