I would like to share information with anyone working on this family. Joseph & Sarah (Dobson) Pierce were my g.g.grandparents. Joseph was a wheelwright/blacksmith, he first married a Catherine Unknown, they had one son, Joseph Pierce (Jr.) then he moved to the Shelbyville/Todds Point, Shelby Co., IL., he married Sarah Dobson of Ohio, their children were Nellie Grant(Hadwin), Alvd, Maggie, Mollie Bird (Kendall), Robert & Rachel. I have them thru the 1900 census. I also know that my g.grandmother, Nellie died in 1896 and is buried at Todds Point Cemetery, Shelby Co. I have not been able to find the graves of Joseph & Sarah or any of the siblings.
Any help would be much appreciated.
