I'm looking for the spouse of Chistoph Piering. They had the following children (that I have found so far, there may be more):

Hans Joachim Daniel Piering b. 1777
Johann Martin Carl Piering b. 1775
Anna Christina Margaretha Piering b. 1779

Looking for relatives of the Piering family. Joachim Piering b. 1844, Friedrich Piering b. 1865 in Gramkow Mecklenburg Germany. Came to Wisconsin (Milwaukee area) about 1881(?) Any information or leads would be appreciated. There are not that many Pierings out there.

I am sorry that I do not have those names in my tree, but I do have the Piering name in my tree. I also noticed that you posted this under the Reuter area too.

These are the names I have...maybe a brother or ???

Joachim Piering b. 4-20-1844 m. Anna Reuter b. 6-19-1837

They settled in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area.

I also have other Pierings, father of Joachim might be Martin and mother might be Dorathea.

Please let me know if we have any similar information. Piering isn't a common last name. I am looking for any help on finding information on the Piering clan.

Julie, I did not realise it was the Reuter's board until I posted the message. This is the only place I have found mention of the Piering family.
August Piering, b 31 Aug 1849 was born in Sandhot, Marienburg, Germany. His parents according to his death cert were John Piering and mary Matsofki. He married Mary Dombrosky. Family info says they lived in Lichenfeldt, Germany. ( I have found this spelled different ways) August, Mary and their two daughters emigrated about Jun1881 and lived in Duluth, St. Louis, Mn. I have no other information about brothers of August of life in Germany. If you find any connection with this information, please let me know. Thanks for your interest. Linda Aker

My Greatgrandparents August Piering (b 31 Aug 1849) and Mary Dombroski Piering (b 13 Mar 1856) came to the United States abt June 1881 from Lichenfeldt(?spelling) Germany. Mary's parent were Anthony Dombrosky and Esther Rombosky according to her Death Certificate. Two Daughters were born in Germany and came with them to the US. Augusta Piering (b 24 Oct 1878) and Mary Helen Piering (b 19 May 1876) I would appreciate any info anyone might have on this family. Linda
