Hello. I only know as far back as my great grandfather Ephraim Pierpoint born in the Essex/Liverpool area. One of his sons was Harold Pierpoint and his son, my father is Frank Pierpoint. Harold left England in the early 1900's and settled in St. John's Newfoundland.

Hi,
John Pierpoint was my G.G.Grandfather.
I'm hopeing someone might have him in their family tree. He married Ann Caldwell and they had at least one son, born in 1846 who they named Thomas Caldwell.At that time they lived at Crown St, Warrington, Lancaster. Thomas Caldwell Pierpoint married a Beatrice Littehales they had two sons Fred and Harry. Any info on these would be great.

Hi Ken I am from Kirkby as well, I live in Fazakerley now.
Jimmy Doyle is no relation.
I too have the same tree my great great grandfather was Charles one of his sons John married a Jane Cleverley there daughter Elizabeth married Michael Doyle who was my grandfather.

Thanks Tommy give me a couple of days and I will send you what I know, I have been away for a week and just returned, I live in Kirkby, just outside Liverpool, and I have managed to trace the Pierpoints on my side of the tree too Ormskirk aa Ezekiel Pierpoint Married in 1754 in Halsll on 20th November to a Margaret Chew he was previously married to a Mary Woods on 15th April 1729 in Wigan, how does this check out with your findings? Coincidently an old family friend from Kirkdale Liverpool was a Jimmy Doyle who`s father owned the funeral directors in the 40/50s any relation.

Hi Ken I am currently researching Pierpoint family tree.
It looks like we have a common ancestor in Charles.
My great grandfather was John Born 1857 who was the son of Charles and brother of Ezekiel. Other siblings where William H b 1852 Ellen Emma b 1860 Elizabeth b 1862.
I have possible links back to an Eziekiel b1708 in Wigan but I am not 100% If you have any info that would help I would be happy to share what I have found.

Are any of you still monitoring the board? My grandmother was Bennie Mai Pierpoint. I think Otto was my grandfather Scott Pierpoint's brother. My father had a sister named Sarah Almira, but,I thought she died at a early age of 16 or so, but that could have been another sister. I attended Uncle Otto's funeral,but was very young, all I can remember is he always wore overalls and smoked a cigar. I live in Tennessee and go to the Mt. Zion cemetery yearly,where there are alot of Pierpoints buried. I can remember my dad talking about alki mae and he always referred to her as aunt alki mae and I think we may have a picture of Uncle John. My dad was Boyd Pierpoint but sadly he died in 2002. He would have known all of this information. All of his brothers and sisters have passed away and now I think only some older cousins may remember more details.There is a benton county tn genealogy website and the history of sulfur creek school is on there. You might find a relative in the picture from 1907 or 1908. My grandmother is in the picture along with several other pierpoints, edgar,elsie,and westell, who was my great or great,great aunt. I think that Aunt Westell did a family tree at some point several years ago,but, not sure where it ever went. Would love to hear if you are related to us. mskmartin@excite.com

Sorry, should have said Lydia Maria parents were Daniel and Lydia Bindoff,nee Lewis. Lydia married names were Veal, Pierpoint and I believe Mark/c.

Hi, Lydia Maria Pierpoint married Thomas Veal 9/2/1875 Islington, thier son Herbert Edwin is my paternal g-grandfather. Lydia parents Daniel and Lydia Pierpoint nee Lewis. Lydia Maria was married 3 times.

Hi, I know you are researching the Pierpoint family but I am just wondering where the Bindoff's and Veal's fit in as I am looking into the Bindoff family (my grandmother was a Bindoff) and I also have some of the Veal family in my tree. Perhaps one of the Bindoff's was married to a Pierpoint?

Looking for any info anyone may have on Edward J Pierpoint, born about 1870s and died in the 1940s, he married Dora Conkle. They had 4 children Homer, John Elza, Nellie(f) and Goldie(f). They lived in the jackson, athens countys of Ohio.

Thank you. I wil pass all this information on when I post my findings to my friend. All the siblings of Charles Pierpoint can be found on the family tree on this site. Only Ellen who became Jones in 1837,Charles and Henry seem to have produced offspring but there are plenty of them if you follow the censuses down. I am waiting for Liverpool records office to finish some research for me. So far they have given leads to dates of death of Charles parents.

I live just outside Liverpool, I am 55 years old a father and grandfather, I took the money and run from the company I worked for, and am now enjoying retirement looking after one of my grandsons two days a week. Holcombe and Tottington are in Lancashire, the closest large town is Bury.

I dont have definite details of elizas birth sorry, I am still trying to confirm them. I notice that the first 3 children are born in Holcombe & Tottington. Do you know where these are ? As I dont think they are near Winwick, so perhaps it isnt the same family if Eliza was born in 1817. I dont have any further details yet of John her father.
