I am looking for information on Mitchel(Michel) Piette dit Lafreniere married to Mary Daigle.I have the Daigle line but very little on the Lafreniere line.Their marriage record
states Mitchels parents as Michel and Rose. No maiden name for Rose.Family story is that the family was from Three Rivers in Quebec.That Mitchel was orphaned at a very young age and adopted by Marguerite Girard or Girouard.DNA testing shows Metis blood line.Closest birth date is 1847.
Also would like to find Lafreniere genealogy book.
