Marie Josephte Pilon married Guillaume Amable Trépanier on 13-01-1755 in Pointe-Claire. The Dictionnaire Généalogique des Familles Pilon en Amérique lists only one child: Marie Josephte Trépanier, born 9-11-1759 in Pointe Claire. Marie Josephte Pilon remarried Pierre Rollin in 1774.

I can't help you with the parents but I do have another son to Joseph and Elisabeth.
Joseph Pilon married to Marguerite Bricault-LaMarche, 23 Feb.1852 at St.Hyacinthe.I have 6 of their children and their spouses if you want them.

Elisabeth Pilon was the daughter of Toussaint Pilon and Reine Vallée Marcoux who were married 01-04-1788 at St-Michel, Vaudreuil. After her marriage to Joseph Toussaint Jacques Pilon, she remarried with Pierre Pilon, son of Paul Pilon and Marie Baulne.

Henri was born 15-07-1919 in Rigaud and died 03-02-1994 in Rigaud. Jeannette Arbour was born 13-08-1912. She was the daugther of Narcisse Arbour and Lucie Leblanc and widow of Antonio Marchessault.

The "Dictionnaire Généalogique des familles Pilon en Amérique" gives Alexina's parents as Balthasar Pilon and Célina Cécilia Trépanier, m. 28-01-1861, St-Raphael Archange, Ile Bizard. Alexina married Wilfrid Bédard 23-04-1895 at Ste-Cunégonde, Montreal.

Alexina's sibligs:Camille, Georgiana, Adélard, Phélonise, Camille, Hélinda, Delphine and Zéphir.

i found my birth mother and her children. listen if possible i can call you .i have free long distance in canada. share with you what i found. find out if you found any information on your birth family. i use for free www.rootsweb.org then click on family trees world connect in there you type the surname and first name of your grandfather or grandmother then your sailling . i found all the lefebvres and all the pilons that are connected to me.even related to seguins-sancartier-st.amand-kingsley former police officer.laurind eugene laurin.different laurins many others.

I am not a relative of any Pilon or any names you mentioned but I will ask a lady I know who has lived there all her life & now well into her 80's. . maybe she might know.

There was a Parish Priest at St-Jean Brébeuf by the name of Joseph Coallier I believe for a period of TEN YEARS or more didn't record any births, marriages or deaths in the REGISTERS.

But have you tried obtaining your birth records from CAS or where you just handed over no papers made out.

I know a lady in her 80's born in that parish to an unwed mother. Handed her baby girl to a family who had only a son & she was raised under that name RE-BAPTISED etc. .

I knew a chap who recalled the story & he gave me not only the mother's name but the family background & who her father had been.

Said all she wanted was to know who her people were.

Cecile's parents are Antoine Pilon and Cecile Arkneys.
Antoine's parents are Antoine Pilon and Angelique LeMai.
They married 6 Feb. 1832 at St. Boniface Manitoba.
Antoine's parents are Pierre Pilon and Marie Francoise Robidoux. They married 25 Jan. 1779 at Pointe Claire.
Pierre's parents are Antoine Pilon and Marie Josephte Roy.
They married 27 June 1729 at Pointe Claire.
It should be easy trace the rest back to France.

If you could give a little more information.
Grandmother's maiden name, great grandmother maiden name.
Where did they live and at about what time?
I went through my files real quick but I didn't find any Felix with a son Honore.
But that doesn't mean anything if I just haven't accumulated the right marriages yet.
Maiden names are a big help.

I am trying to find out the names of my great grand parents.
My Grand father was Timothy Pilon married to Adelaide Meade.
Timothy was a French Canadian who went to Montreal Iron Michigan in 1906 and stayed until around 1918 (draft card ww1 found). He was born nov 25, 1885
His wife Adelaide Mead was an American adopted by the Meade family. She was born around 1886.

They had 8 children together: Florence, Timmy, Elzeare (Died age 5), Russel, Irene, Bernard (Born Jan 31, 1924), Sidney, and Evelyne.

They eventually came back to Canada and settled in Grenville Quebec.

I was told that my Great Grand Father married an Iroquois woman from Ontario up near Toronto.

Any information I can find out about this branch of the Pilon Family would be appreciated.

I believe A. Weberg from Michigan was my fathers older brother, My father Clifton Earl Weberg was born In Breedsville Mich. in 1917, son of Adolf. He (father) was youngest of 8 children. From Sweden.

Toussaint Pilon is my third great grandfather and Dolphice (Dolphius) is my second great grandfather. Eva Keyes (Pilon) is my great grandmother. I am wondering if you know where Toussaint was born. The information I was given says Rockland Ontario, but I have a feeling he was born in Quebec. Also I am building on online family tree, and I am interested in the Pilon information that you have collected. Also do you know anything about the wife of Toussaint, Emilia (Emelia), her last name, her parents, place of birth. I have for a last name for her Cuyon, but I have seen elsewhere a Toussaint Pilon married to a Emelia Yon, I wonder if they are the same.

I am looking for any connections to Mary Jane Pilon, b. abt 1862. died 1930 at North Bay Ontario. Married David Burke, date unknown.
Mary Jane & her husband David appear in the census records of 1891 and 1901 then in 1911 as a widow.
Her death cert shows her father as John and her birth place as Darling Ontario yet the census records give her birth location as Quebec.

Any clues or surprises welcome

I try to find who is that couple?
John Gervais d before 1923 and probably earlier, his wife Emily Pilon died at 98 years old April 10, 1923 in Montreal and buried in "Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery) under the identity of Emily Perron widow of Gervais "Murphy burial lot". At the time of her death Emily Pilon is from St. Michael's Archangel parish of Iberville street Montreal.
Their daughter Agnes Gervais with John Patrick Murphy married May 26 1902, in St. Mary, Montreal (also Our Lady, Notre Dame du Bon Conseil). The bride Agnes is from Kingsey,Qc.
In the 1901 census Agnes is a domestic at Windsor Mills, Richmond and Wolfe county, birth March 12 1870 and single.
In the 1911 census, Montreal (Maisonneuve area) she is a widow, 44 years old b. March 1867, with her 2 boys: John 8 years old, Leo years old. Living with her brother-in-law, Robert Murphy and Kate.
I found a lot of infos about Agnes's children, their marriage and birth of the her grandchildren.
Agnes is the the godmother of one her grandchild in 1933.
I can't find her death and her parent's John Gervais and Emily Pilon or Pillon.
Agnes Gervais, could be a Jervah or Jarvah.

Could you help pleas?

My Grandfather Arthur Weberg was born in Ogontz or (Ensign), Michigan they are right next to each other, in 1905. Today they call it Rapid River, Michigan. His father was John Weberg. We are 99.9% sure Adolf was Johns brother. There are two sets of family. John and Adolf's father came with his sons to America and went back for his wife who died before he returned. On his way over he met a woman on the boat named Hannah from Scottland this was my Grandpa's(Arthur) Step Grandmother. My Grandpa had 3 Aunts and 1 Uncle from this marriage that were close in age to him. I hope this helps you. My email is hsch9347@sbcglobal.net. cazy, crazy, I am the second youngest of 7, 4 boys and 3 girls. My parents were born in 1935 (dad, Patrick) and 1937 (Mom, Nancy, don't tell her I told you that). I am actually going to the U.P. this weekend. I will show the letter to my family and see if anyone knows anything. I will contact your Mom when I get back. It would be fun if we were to find some new cousins. I really love this stuff. I married into a German family that can date there family way, way, way back and only because over the last 150 years someone has kept track of it. I have always wanted to do this for my family. Genevieve is my grandmother and yes the last name of their mother was Vinette. Quebec Canada is where you want to start your search. Their Fathers name was Octave. Also, look in Escanaba, Wells and Nama Michigan as well. My Moms name is Nancy, her brothers are Leroy and Robert, Genevieve was married to Arthur Weberg.

I don't have the list in front of me but I recall that there was only 2 or 3 sons. Are you now in Michigan or Wisconsin or elsewhere?

Y-DNA Surname Project

I have a Y-DNA surname project running on both Ancestry and FTDNA which includes the name Pilon and other similarly sounding surnames of France, Great Britain and Ireland. One of the goals is to determine if some of these surnames are simply variants of each other or if they are independent (i.e they are similar through chance convergence or other considerations). As Pilons have spread, primarily to Canada, this is also an opportunity to identify which lines are related to each other and those still in France.
