I am looking for information of my great grandfather John Pinckney who married Anna c. Keogles (date unknown). John was born in 1855, I think in SC. The family history is that he went to sea and was disowned by his family. I know that he lived in Texas and in Kansas finally moving to Wasola Missouri.
I am not sure where either on of my grandparents came from. I would lik to search for more information but don't know how to go about it. any advice you can give me would ba appreciated.
