PINCKNEY – Vernon PINCKNEY, aged 66, of 265 River Rd, Sparta, passed away unexpectedly Thursday evening at his home. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle; two sons, Harold of Grand Rapids and Lowell of Sparta; two daughters, Mrs. Howard (Leota) POWELL of Rockford, Mrs. Clair (Ione) NELSON of Sparta, two brothers, Arzie and Alden of Sparta; 17 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Monday at the Bettes Memorial Chapel, Rev Henry W ELLINGER officiating. Internment in Internment in Fairplains Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
