I am searching for the parents of Julius A. Piper. He married Mina Ponto on Jan. 22, 1871 in Marshall County, Illinois. Julius was born July 7, 1846 in Prussia, came to the USA in 1869, died March 22, 1919 in Elk, Chase, KS. Mina Ponto was born Nov. 21 1840 in Bramberg, Prussia, Bydgoszcz, Poland, came to the USA in 1866, died Dec. 13, 1907 in Elk, Chase, KS. They had 7 children: August, Otto, Henry, Leinnie, Alvena, Fred and Emil. After Mina passed away, Julius then married Ada Rocelia (Brundage) Butters.
