The Pleasents or Pleasants family I'm looking for Alice is the daughter we think her parents were John & Sarah Pleasents, but are not positive. We do know Alice married James Monroe Turney, he is burried in Miller's Creek Wythe Co Va. Alice is burried in an unmarked grave at Draper Valley Pentacostal Hollines Church in Draper/Max Meadows Va beside her daughter Maggie Gladys Turney Arnold & her husband Deck Dillon Arnold. Alice had 4 known children 2 sons whoes names are unknown. 1 son named John "Johnny" & 1 daughter Maggie. All 3 sons died very young due to disentary or something like it from the times that most children died of back then. Maggie herself almost died but was the only child to survive & raise her own family. We found 1 census of James, Alice & John F Turney & said she was a mother of 3 children. Maggie wasn't born untill 1910. Thanks for any help. Claudia
