Sarah Pletcher, 84, of 61993 Ind. 19, died at 6:30 A.M. Saturday (Feb. 6,1988) at her home. She had been ill for the past year. She was born Dec. 7 1903, in Madison Township, St. Joseph County. As Sarah Derr, she married Ralph Pletcher on May 17, 1927, in Harrison Township. He died Aug. 30, 1955. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Anderson, Elkhart, and Mrs. Marion (Veta) Blosser, Nappanee; a son Bob Pletcher, Elkhart; six grandchildren.Two sisters, Hannah Pletcher, and Anna Loucks and two brothers, John Derr and James Derr, are deceased. Friends may call from 7 to 9 P.M. today and 2 to 9 P.M. Monday at Lenhart's Funeral Home, Wakarusa, where services will be at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday. The Rev. David Stump and Dr. Merele Pederson, both of Bible Baptist Church of Wakarusa, will officiate. Burial will be in Olive West Cemetery. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bible Baptist Church of Wakarusa. Memorials may be made to the church.
