WAKARUSA—Earl Pletcher, 68, of Elkhart Rt.4, died this morning at General Hospital, where he had been a patient several days. Mr. Pletcher was born Aug.13, 1896, in Olive Township. He married the former Hannah Derr, Aug.21, 1915. Mr. Pletcher owned and operated a store in Jonesville for 40 years. He was a member of the Bethel United Missionary Church. Surviving besides his wife are one son, Carl of Enid, Okla.., one granddaughter, and six sisters, Mrs. Della Nusbaum, Mrs. Ray Blake, Miss Treva Pletcher, Mrs. Howard Parcell, Mrs. Roland Troxel, all of Elkhart Rt.3 and Mrs. George Hunsberger, Wakarusa Rt.1. Friends may call at the Lienhart Funeral Home after 2 P.M. Thursday. Services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Friday in Olive Mennonite Church, with burial in Olive Cemetery.
