I just got confirm last week my german ancestor who came over is Johaan micael Plocher/Blocher. Name spelling change after Arr.. He was born April 25, 1810 in Holzhausen Wuerttembergian Germany. His parents were Geogr Jacob plocher Wife Christina. Michael and two sisters Anna born Aug.30, 1795 and christina born Aug 24m 1802 Anna married before she left Germany in 1832 their Departure place was Breman Germany with arr. in boston. All of the what we now call Blocher/lockers in that area were Plocher the name change came when they went through immigration. This from nother Blocher who is with hostorical soc. in Holzhausen.
