I have recently seen references to the connection of the Plouff and Villebrun names. I don't know where the connection comes from or if it is valid. If anyone knows the connection I would appreciate the information. I am looking for the parents etc of a Joseph Villebrun who lived in Presque Isle County, Michigan from about 1862. He is supposed to have been born in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec on Jun 17, 1834. I had been trying to find him through the Provencher dit Villebrun line but this may be another possibility. Does anyone know of a Joseph Plouffe or Villebrun that fits this description.
