come on cousins,
give me some ideas about why no Plouf's in France.
surely our JEAN BELOUF/PLOUF wasn't the last of the line
or was he?
how much alike would BELOUF and BELOUISSE sound in French? (check out Belousse art work...the BEST!)
incidentally GUILLEBOEUF (as in our JEAN PLOUF'S wife MADELEINE GUILLEBOEUF) seems never to have existed except for MADELEINE.
but there is a town named GUILLEBOEUF IN FRANCE.
I wonder how much a Q looks like a G in hand printing of a notary in 1666 Montreal.
any ideas? WE DID NOT START TO EXIST IN THE 1600's.
as you may have guessed, I want to know about us BEFORE we came to MONTREAL.
I'm grasping at straws. maybe one of my distant cousins (like you) can drop me a straw to explore.
