Columbia (SC) – Etta Crosland Plumer, 95, died Sunday in a Laurens nursing home.
The funeral will be at 2 pm Wednesday in Elmwood Cemetery, according to Shives Funeral Home. A memorial service will be at 1 pm today in Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Center.
Mrs. Plumer was born in Kershaw County, a daughter of James Weldon Crosland and Eliza Branham Crosland. She was a former member of First Baptist Church of Columbia and was a member of First Baptist Church of Laurens. She was the widow of Eugene J. Plumer.
Surviving are a son, Robert J. Plumer of Charleston; a daughter, Elizabeth J. Plumer of Columbia; a sister, Reba C. Pollard of Columbia; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
