Wondering if anyone knows teh parentage of the Srul (Israel) POBERESHSKY b. abt. 1873, Lipowetz, Russia (50 miles NNW of Elizavetgrad / Yelisabetgrad and 40 miles N of Uman, places where MY Israel POBERESKY, a generation older, lived). This Srul m. a Marian and came to NY in 1911. He was going to stay with his uncle N. Leibowitz at 452 Cherry in Manhattan (the exact address where my Israel's daughter Katia Pober Siebel lived 7 year earlier!).

Anyone know of parents or children of this Israel POBER?
