Beginning with Peter Scherrer and Elizabeth Pohle, who had the following children, William, Peter, Phillip, Mary, Barbara, George, Evangeline, Ann, Edward: Phillip married Anne Paul, had two chilren, Phillip Peter and a baby Ernst- Phillip and the baby died in 1885; I know the marriages and children of all other chilren.

After Phillip died, they all moved to 1st Street and starte Scherrer Bros livery and stable and funeral business. There seem to be a number of possible brothers- Adam, Conrad, George and son William involved in the business. They are so difficult to find on census records. If anyone has informaton about the brothers, I would appreciate it. They started off on 9th AVe, and after the death of phillip moved to 1st AVe. as well s 49th.
