Surnames: POKE, PAULKE, POLK, TATUM, LAWLER, LOLLOR, WRIGHT
Eli Poke was b. abt. 1818 in N.C./S.C.
His daughter lived in MS and I think tha she was born there abt. 1853 in Yalobusha Co. She lived in the home of relatives the Tatum's then with her aunt Jane Lauler who was marr. to a Thomas Gleason and lived in Grenada Co, also MS, in 1870 census data .
Eli (POLK)and Mary E. AKA America POLK were listed on census data files for 1860 in the Tatum .H.H.
Also on these files are a Daniel POLK b. abt. 1847.
Mary E. POKE/POLK is my GrGRGrandmother.
