I have recently bought an old photo of a little baby with what appears to be "David Stebbins Pond" written on the back. There is no information on the front of the photo other than the adorable little face.
On the back the photographer info is as follows "Frank Lawrence, No. 352 Main Street, Worcester, Mass. 1882. Negatives Preserved."
Written on the back of the photo is "David Stebbins Pond, 6 mns. old. May, 1882." The middle name is odd and makes me wonder if I'm misintrepeting the letters.
Something like "Snip" is written beneath this.
"Mrs. Babbitt" is written at the bottom of back of the photo.

From the date of the photo and the age given, I'd estimate his birth between November and December 1881. The only close match on ancestry.com shows a David Stirling Pond. But that may very well be the wrong person.
