Henry Pook's first marriage was to a widow, Lucy Grimshaw aged 29 when Henry was 22. They married in 1877 at Leeds and Henry began work at Bristol as a iron labourer in 1881, and he became a foreman warehouseman in 1891 and 1901. They had 2 children both born at Leeds in , John R. G. and Ann Elizabeth who married Frank Bond and they also had an adopted daughter, Katherine Mann who was shown on the 1901 census. I suspect that John whose last initial stands for Grimshaw, born to Lucy in her first marriage and having taken the name Pook.
I hope this helps and if you can expand on anything I would like to add it to my database, please.
