I am looking for information on my grandmother Helen Peters Dewdney's cousin Eric Skeffingon Poole. His mother was Florence Gray Poole and father was Henry Skeffington Poole. Eric was born in Canada in 1885 and moved to England as a teenager. He was a Lieutenant for the British Army in WW1. He had shell shock in the Battle of the Somme and wandered away from his post. For this he was court martialled and shot for desertion in December 1916. I met his niece Monica Kenneway from Guildford in the 1970s.
