I did a review of Porteous entries, including any variants I could think of or that I thought might be Porteous for the 1841 census. The search information is all typed in so I did not get these entries interpreting the handwriting but rather the spelling that was given. I have not changed any of the spelling and leave it to anyone interested to look up an entry to try and get more detail. Where there was a Porteous entry I included the other household members as well in case this helps establish a better connection.
