Some OPR of Dumfries data on Porteous and related families

In an attempt to move back another generation in my Porteous tree I have been researching the Old Parish Registers for parishes in and around the area where my oldest Porteous branch comes from. That oldest branch is for an Archibald Porteous (parents unknown) and Grizel Robison (dau of John Robison and Grizel Burgess)in Grahamshill, Kirkpatrick-fleming, Dumfries. I have obtained the OPR records for Kirkpatrick-fleming as well as those for Dalton, Dornock, Dryfesdale, and Dumfries through my local FHS. For these parishes I have transcribed all Porteous entries as well as those for families I believe are or may be tied in to the Porteous. No doubt there is lots of useless information collected related to me own research but hopefully some others may find another clue. Let me know if you would be interested in the Word file I have created. There are about 300 entries in the file (not all Porteous by any means) comprised most frequently by Porteous, but also the following families: Carruthers, Halliday, Jardine, Irving, Bell, Robison, Latimer, Burgess, Harkness and others.
