My GGrandmother was Leonora PORTER (b. and d. unknown), m. George TUCKER c. 1885 and lived with him in Nashua, NH and Lyon Mountain, Clinton Co., NY. Leonora had a sister Grace PORTER, b. 1880, d. 1968, m. Seymour DOTY of Vermontville, Franklin Co., NY. There was also an aunt of theirs named "Mame" who lived in Plattsburg, NY.

Leonora worked in the Salvation Army in Nashua and Troy, NY as well. She may have remarried after George's death. Her daughter(my grandmother), Ella Irene TUCKER (TYLER), was a Salvationist in Nashua until she married.

Do these names ring a bell with any other researcher? My family can't add much more than these facts. The geographic range of this family has me confused where to concentrate my efforts.
