I have a JAMES PORTER who supposedly died in Washington Co., PA Feb. 1825 and buried In Mingo Cemetery.
He was brother of NATHANIEL PORTER who died Sept. 1818, whose will you also posted.
Supposedly they were both sons of JAMES PORTER (1695-1775) and ELIZABETH LYSLES of Chester Co., PA.
Sorry, but I do not have any wife or kids for JAMES d. 1824/5 tho.
Happy to share my notes on this line if you think might help you.
After much work on that line I still haven't figured out how they relate to my PORTER line!
