Porter - Aubrey and Joseph
My great grandfather was named Aubrey Porter and i can not find any information on him or who is wife was. I do no they had a son Joseph Porter born in 1907-1908. I never met my grandfather as he left my nan in 1941 ish.
I do no that Joseph was living in Ridley Road Upperby in Carlisle before he married my nan.
All the information i have is from my nan and grandad's marriage cert. Family members either do not know or won't say what happened.
I believe they came from Scotland or Carlisle but that is just guess work. My grandfather Joseph was in the border regiment in world war 11.
If any one cn help me find out anything that would be great.
