Charles Porter was born in Ireland in 1793 and immigrated to Canada in apr. 1819. His wife was Mary also born in Ireland in 1796/7. Their first son James was born in Nova Scotia in 1821 and they moved to nearby New Brunswick in 1822 where the remainder of their children were born, Charles, George, Samuel, John Francis, Rebecca and Jane. He died in 1868 in New Brunswick. I am trying to find out where Charles came from in Ireland. I would appreciate any direction, suggestions or if anyone knows anything about them. Thanks
