I'm down here in Orlando wondering how my relatives (and non-relatives) pronounce their last names. I'm sure everyone, like me, have heard our surname said many different ways and I'm curious on how many ways our own family says their last name.
My branch of the family tree from Georgia has always pronounced it "Poor-tear" although I probably hear, and correctly so, "Poor-T-ay" the most.
Just curious to see how many different ways Portier's say their name across the country.......
