Searching for the maiden name of Jane, wife of James POSEY. James was born ca. 1800, probably in GA. His wife Jane was born ca. 1801 in GA. She died in Sept. 1863 in TX, most likely in Anderson Co. Since they named a son Adren Ford POSEY, we wonder if her maiden name might have been Ford. Soes anyone know. The POSEY family came to TX from Troup Co., GA.
