Michael Wilson Poston
Columbia - Memorial Service for Michael Wilson Poston, 58, will be held at 2;30 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2003, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. Visitation will
be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Memorails may be made to the American Heart Association, the SPCA or to Wolf Haven International of
Tenino, Wash. Mr. Poston died Saturday, April 26, 2003. Born in Florence, he was a son of the late Fenseth and Mildred Bennett Poston. He was an Army veteran having served in Vietnam and Panama. A graduate of Lake City High School and Francis Marion College, he did post graduate studies at USC School of Business. He was the former
president of Southern Electronic Manufacturing Co., Inc. (SEMCO). Mr. Poston was an avid hiker and nature photographer. He rescued and cared for many animals during his life. He was a member of Mid-Carolina Rifle Club and PADI Diving Club. Surviving are his wife, Lydia R. Davis; brother, Sam (Dick) Poston, his wife, Joanne, and their
children, Sharri Clouse and Terri Cortez of Barnwell; brother-in-law, Julius Parrott and his daughter, Julie Parrott, of Lake City; sister-in-law, Becky Sox and Parker Sox of
Irmo; and extended family and loving in-laws. He was predeceased by a sister, Lynn Poston Parrott.
