How could I get access to the book you mentioned? My library??
My Captain Joseph Potter has similar dates, but alas different.

Joseph Potter (b. 7MAY1759 d.9FEB1835 m. Lois Guernsey b. 1June1762 d. 5Nov1824, then m. Margaret Evans) Enlisted in the Army in 1776 from Pittsfield Ma. Migrated to Gibson NY from Ballston Spa, NY 26Jan1792.
Enlisted in Cambridge, MA. 1775 for 1776 campaign. Marched to Ticondaroga, then Albany, MY, then to Newtown, PA 12/20/76. Crossed Delaware River 12/31/76 w/ Washington. took Hessions at Trenton on 1/1/1777. Term up and left Army 1/2/1777.

I'd appreciate any related info.
