I think we have some ancestors in common. My great grandfather was John Harrison Black, who was the son of Joseph Miller Black and Isabella Hawk.
Joseph Miller Black was the son of Alexander Young Black and Mary Boyd Eakman.
Alexander young Black was the son of David Black and Ane (Annis/ Annes) Young.
Annis Young was the daughter of Alexander Young and Annis Potter.

Annis Potter Young was the daughter of Cpt. John potter who died around 1757/1758.

I have listed as brothers of Alexander Young Black/ children of David Black and Annis Young:
James Black B-July 1802, D- March 1822
Samuel Black B- April 1807
Robert Black B- September 1809
John C. Black B- August 1811
David Black B- May 1813, D- 1854
Thomas Black B- June 1816.

Alexander Young Black was married a second time to a woman named Mary Myia Miller who died January 1889.

David Black also had a second wife by the name of Elizabeth Mc Cartney.

The name Annis also struck me as unusual and the fact that her last name was Potter and she was married to Alexander Young seems more than a coincidence. This leads me to believe they are in fact the same people mentioned above.

I do have more information on John Harrison Black, his brothers and sisters and children.

The family of John Harrison Black is from the Appolo Pennsylvania area.
