Thank you. That's exactly what I have felt like - that I have been chasing my tail. I don't have consistent time to devote to genealogy research but I never did like the George and Martha connection.
It seems to me that just because Nathaniel signed at Aquidneck, people have assumed that the three Potters who signed were brothers, without any other documentation.
Hopefully I will have time the next few days to continue with this and add notes to my Family Tree and then convince my brother-in-law (who does not use Ancestry.com, by the way, but is still convinced that the George and Martha connection is correct) to change his mind!
