Waterbury -- Joseph W. Prager Sr., 67, of 78 Chapman St., formerly of Watertown, died Friday, Nov. 4, at his home.
Mr. Prager was born Sept 28, 1938, in Waterbury, son of the late Ward and Eva (Poulin) Prager. He graduated from Watertown High School and lived in Watertown for most of his life. He worked as a maintenance worker at the former Reymond's Bakery, until retirement, and was a member of the Old Fellows Townsend Lodge.
He leave two sons, Joseph W. Prager Jr. of Albany, N.Y., and Joshua Prager of Torrington; three daughters, Vicki Prager of Orchard Park, N.Y., Susan Duby of Canton and Breanna Prager of Torrington; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A brother, Harry Handle; and two sisters, Florence Cable and Marguerite Robinson, are deceased.
Arrangements: Funeral Mass of cremains 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Oakville. Burial at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Arrangements by O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main St., Oakville.
