I am looking for information for the Powell family from William Henry Powell. His daughter Ellen Delana Powell is my grandmother and we have been told she was half Indian, and the pictures that I have seen of her, so looked full Indian, but I have not been able to find out where it originates. One of my uncles - Richard - did have a white wife and a black/Indian/mixed mistress that he had children with, so there is a mix in that line, but I can't seem to find out about William Powell.
